Bukit Jambul

Beautiful Scenery with amazing panoramic views

BUKIT JAMBUL RICE TERRACE IS A BEAUTIFUL SCENERY WITH AMAZING PANORAMIC VIEWS, INCLUDING THE FRESH TROPICAL ATMOSPHERE THAT SWEEPS THE ENTIRE AREA.

Bukit Jambul Rice Terrace was given its name by a tourist during the Dutch invasion of Indonesia, who was inspired by a steep hill on the south side of the main route between Klungkung and Karangasem regencies. On the top of the hill, there is a Hindu temple named Pura Pucak Sari, which is surrounded by large trees. A beautiful panorama of rice fields may be found beneath the temple complex. From a distance, the trees appear to be tufting hair.

Due to the harmonic combination of hilly land, rice fields, valleys, and a gorgeous sea view in the distance, Bukit Jambul Rice Terrace is renowned as an exceptional natural tourist site. We will be able to see the grandeur of nature beneath us from a lofty vantage point. Because there is a giant banyan tree growing on the top of the hill like a crest, the locals call it Bukit Jambul Rice Terrace, where Bukit refers to the hill and Jambul to the crest. This location became famous as a result of the breathtaking scenery, which included a rice terrace, a meandering road beneath it, and palm trees going all the way to the sea. It is located on a plateau with consistently temperate temperatures, making it a great relaxing spot for a respite during your journey to eastern Bali.

East Bali's Bukit Jambul Rice Terrace is a popular tourist destination.

Bukit Jambul Rice Terrace is one of the most interesting natural tourism spots in Karangasem Regency, which is located 1.5 kilometers from Denpasar City. This location is now well-known, and it served as a stop on Besakih Temple tour programs. This location is also assisted by the presence of local eateries that provide travelers with the best selection of Indonesian and international menus. Tourists will be pampered by the lovely surroundings, which includes an incredible panoramic and a fresh tropical feel that pervades the entire region.

Bukit Jambul Rice Terrace is located in the Rendang district's Pesaban traditional Village, Nongan village. It's around 8 kilometers north of Klungkung regency, 51 kilometers north of Denpasar, and 15 kilometers north of Besakih. Take roughly 1.5 hours by car or 30 minutes by foot to reach Besakih Temple, also known as Mother Temple. When traveling north from Kerta Gosa, it just takes 30 minutes to reach the twisty road. As a result, this area is quite easy to find because it is situated in a strategic location directly beside the main road connecting Klungkung and Besakih Temple.

Food booths or "warung" and small eateries are available at the Bukit Jambul Rice Terrace, which also has a huge parking lot.
