Pasar Badung ( Badung Traditional Market )
Traditional market of Badung, 24 hours economic center of Badung citizens
Badung Market, or 'Pasar Badung' in local dialect, is Denpasar's largest traditional market. Denpasar people rely on the market as their primary supply of fresh produce. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers are delivered daily from suppliers in the central highlands and beyond to regular stalls that open well before sunrise.
On the eastern bank of the namesake Badung River, with the Kumbasari Art Market on the other side, lies this major Denpasar landmark. The bargainable prices here are usually much lower than in other Bali marketplaces, and the obligatory hard negotiating adds to the shopping experience.
Badung Market highlights

Following a fire in 2016, Badung Market was restored and modernized. Escalators and elevators connect the floors. Many merchants now sell both fresh and non-perishable goods in the multi-story complex.
Batiks and other fabrics, household products, kitchen utensils, and farming tools are all sold at stalls on the top floors. The lower levels are the most popular, with colorful rows of kiosks selling tropical fruits, flowers, meats and poultry, and other supplies.
