Taman Nusa

Miniature of Indonesian Archipelago

Taman Nusa Bali is also a cultural park dedicated to Indonesian culture. Visitors can learn a great deal about culture at this cultural park. The visitor learns about the cultures of Indonesia's many tribes. Most notably, Taman Nusa Bali displays cultural knowledge from many ethnic and tribal groups in Indonesia in an interactive and engaging manner, with the goal of assisting visitors in comprehending Indonesian cultural information.
In addition, the spatial and architectural elements of this Cultural Park appear to be extremely well integrated with the surrounding environment. It's because it's blended with the scenery of the mountains' natural backdrop. This cultural park complex is built on a cliff's edge. As a result, you can see the Melangit River from above.
The Taman Nusa Bali area covers 15 hectares. Furthermore, each structure was built in accordance with Indonesia's history and the customs of each Indonesian tribe.

Taman Nusa Point of Interest
If you are visiting Taman Nusa Cultural Park with your family and children, you and the children will walk through each building from each tribe in Indonesia, each with a different concept, to make it simpler to absorb the exhibited information.
Indonesia's Prehistoric and Bronze Age
At Taman Budaya Nusa Gianyar Bali, your journey with family and children will begin with old Indonesian history and a spatial and natural design that appears primitive. Moving forward, you'll see a space that looks like it belongs in the Bronze Age.
Indonesia’s Kingdom Age
Your visit to this cultural park will be followed by a spacious layout with the theme of Indonesia's imperial time, one of which is a tiny reproduction of Borobudur temple. When visiting Taman Nusa Gianyar, you’ll see that the Borobudur temple replica at Taman Nusa was a popular photo location for teens.
Cultural Village
Things to observe at this cultural park include not only historical facts, but also a spatial themed culture of Indonesia's many tribes. There are approximately 60 houses in Indonesia with traditional designs representing each tribe; not only can you and your family witness tribal house designs, but you can also experience the arts and culture of each tribe.
Indonesia's Beginnings, Independence, and Current Situation
The statue of Maha Patih Gajah Mada, a replica of Trowulan Temple, and a Gapura depicting the Sumpah Pemuda(youth oath) will be on display to reflect the beginning of Indonesian history. This cultural park also has exhibits on Indonesia's history during the independence period. The statues of Indonesian First President Soekarno and Vice President Bung Hatta are also on display. The Taman Nusa Bali comprises a three-dimensional miniature (diorama) in the form of a miniature railway with a 1:87 dimension comparison scale for the present day of Indonesia. There are almost 50 different locomotive miniatures available, each with passenger and freight carriages. Computer applications are used to automate the control of train miniatures. Aside from tiny locomotives, there are also miniature buildings and landscapes of Indonesia. This diorama is around 200 square meters in size. After that, you'll pass through a region with an Indonesian modern concept. In modern Indonesia, batik, wayang, embroidery, and traditional weaving constitute a history of Indonesian handicrafts. You will be able to experience natural scenery in the shape of terraced rice fields and breathtaking vistas of the Melangit river towards the end of the park visit.
